Four days ago we had some new arrivals hatch at our place. Their Mum was not keen on us getting anywhere near them, as she is very protective over her young. She did what any good mother would do and put herself in between us and the goslings to protect them. 

Seven little goslings, each one unique. Some like to hide away, while others like to seek.
Seven little goslings, chatter and then natter. All like to talk, whether someone's listening, doesn't matter.
Seven little goslings, sitting in the sun, soaking up the warmth, before night time has begun.
Seven little goslings, their parents pride and joy. Now we just have to wonder whether any are a boy.
